Kid Characters For Parties is an independent entertainment provider and is not associated with any copyright holders or trademark owners of the characters portrayed by our performers. We do not claim any endorsement, sponsorship, or official association with any entertainment or media company, nor do we intend to infringe upon any copyrights or trademarks.
Please read the following disclaimer regarding children’s behavior around costumed character performers:
- Parental Supervision: Children should be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times while interacting with costumed character performers. It is important for parents or guardians to closely monitor their children’s behavior and ensure their safety during such interactions.
- Respectful Behavior: Children should be reminded to treat costumed character performers with respect and courtesy. They should understand that the performers are individuals providing entertainment and deserve to be treated kindly, just like any other person.
- Personal Space: Children should be encouraged to respect the personal space of costumed character performers. They should not grab, pull, or tug on their costumes or props. It is important to teach children that these performers need personal space to perform their acts safely.
- No Harmful Actions: Children must be instructed not to engage in any harmful or aggressive behavior towards costumed character performers. This includes hitting, kicking, pushing, or engaging in any other physically harmful actions. Such behavior is not only inappropriate but can also pose a risk to the safety of both the child and the performer.
- Following Instructions: Children should be encouraged to listen to and follow any instructions or guidelines provided by the costumed character performers or event staff. These instructions are given to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants.
- Sensory Considerations: Some children may have sensory sensitivities or fears that can be triggered by the presence of costumed character performers. Parents or guardians should be aware of their child’s needs and comfort levels and make appropriate decisions regarding their participation.
- Awareness of Surroundings: Children should be taught to be aware of their surroundings while interacting with costumed character performers.
- Penalty for Unsatisfactory Behavior: In the event that a child’s behavior during an interaction with a costumed character performer is deemed unsatisfactory, the event organizer or performer reserves the right to impose a penalty fee equivalent to the full payment for the interaction.
Unsatisfactory behavior may include but is not limited to aggressive or disrespectful actions, deliberate damage to costumes or props, or repeated violation of the guidelines provided:
- The penalty fee aims to cover any costs incurred due to repairs, cleaning, or replacement of damaged costumes or props, as well as compensating the performer for any discomfort, inconvenience, or disruption caused. The decision to impose a penalty fee will be made at the sole discretion of the event organizer or performer, and their judgment in such matters shall be final.
- By allowing your child to participate in an interaction with a costumed character performer, you acknowledge and agree to bear full responsibility for any penalty fees imposed as a result of your child’s unsatisfactory behavior.
- Please ensure that your child is aware of the importance of respectful and appropriate behavior during the interaction to avoid any penalties and ensure a positive experience for all parties involved.
